Location - Hotel am Schloss Print

In an uncomparably beautiful and central location the Hotel am Schloss is situated above the roofs of Old Heidelberg directly below the symbol of the town: the famous Castle.  In close range you find the Town Hall and Market Place. Here begins the pedestrian zone, with 1.6 km the longest in Europe. In summer you can relax on the Market Place in one of the numerous cafés. From here you are invited to take a little walk to the Old Bridge. In only 5 minutes you can reach by foot the University Library and the Student’s Prison. With the funicular, which starts directly in the house, you can reach not only the Castle but the highest point of Heidelberg, the Königsstuhl, 550 m above sea- level. There you will find many foot paths, the falconry Tinnunculus and the Paradise of Fairytales. The view down over Heidelberg and it’s surroundings is unforgettable.

You can expect the hospitality and sophisticated atmosphere of a well-tended hotel.

The everlasting problem of where to put your car is non existent here as the car park is directly under the hotel. Hotel guests are charged a maximum fee of EUR 8,00/night. The car park is open 24 hours and under surveillance.

We look foreward to your stay in Heidelberg.
